You can’t see energy, but you can see or feel the effects of energy. Energy is everywhere. Energy is the ability to do work, to make things happen or to cause changes.

Sound and light are both forms of energy. We see light, and we use light every day in so many ways. Describing what light is is very difficult.

Light is an energy force. Its energy can be used to heat things up and make things move. People can use light to solve problems or make discoveries.

Our eyes don’t produce light, but they can see light. We can’t feel light, but we can feel heat produced by light.
