You must take turns discussing the characteristics, qualities, feelings, concepts and/or facts contained within a text. You must use the text and the visuals to justify their reasons.

Ask a question connected to the text to begin a discussion. Try and ask inferential (Think and Search) or Evaluative (Author and Me) questions.

Think carefully about the answer given by any member of the group. Is it an accurate or detailed answer?

Build on ideas that have been shared, or ask more questions to make sure you understand what is being said or shared.

Make sure every answer has a connection to the text. Any person answering a question must justify their response using evidence from the text.
